Job Summary

Airbus Crisa (TSAI) is the organization within Airbus DS - Space Systems responsible for designing, developing, and producing Avionics Equipment for Space applications. The Commercial and Bid Manager will play a crucial role in the Sales and Contract Management team, focusing on bid management and commercial activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and issue responses to national and international invitations to bid, including the preparation of RFIs/RFPs and solicitation, assessment, and negotiation of subcontractors' proposals.
  • Manage the Bid team and set up the Bid team organization during the proposal phase, ensuring schedule, resource planning, meetings, intermediate pink and red team reviews, RMC, shared working areas, and communication are in accordance with the acquisition process.
  • Run clarification/discussions about technical and programmatic matters during the negotiation phase, maintaining continuous communication with the Campaign Manager.
  • Ensure key information transmission to the bid team, guaranteeing the proposal process is understood by all bid team members, and ensuring all documents are properly distributed.
  • Responsible for the complete preparation of winning proposals and its contents, as well as presentation to approval authorities.
  • Define the overall structure of the proposal and the associated volume responsible.
  • Gather all costs estimation from different functions, challenge them if necessary, compute all costs, and prepare price templates (PSS, PAS for RMC).
  • Ensure customer procurement processes and Sales processes (KYC, Acquire business) are respected.
  • Act as a focal point and customer/subcontractor interface in all contractual matters during the proposal phase and project phase.
  • Coordinate with Technical Teams, Finance experts, Legal, Export, Offset to obtain the right expertise at the right time in the commercial bid and Cover Letter.
  • Support the Campaign Manager in pricing negotiation or lead pricing negotiation if the Campaign Manager is not assigned.
  • Support Contracts Manager in contract negotiation.
  • Maintain a satisfactory understanding of relevant legislation and best practices associated with contracting activities and contribute to the overall Airbus objectives on improvement of efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Contribute to the overall financial objectives by proposing/negotiating satisfactory payment plans and supporting invoicing and cash targets.

Requirements

  • Post-graduate Master degree in business administration or Engineering is required.
  • Language: English and Spanish must be at negotiation level.
