Commercial Bid and Sales Manager for Sustainable Energy Systems Service

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Commercial Bid and Sales Manager to join our Sustainable Energy Systems team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for preparing, calculating, and negotiating bids and contracts for our hydrogen and electrolyser business.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Collaborate with service bid management and sales colleagues to craft budgetary and firm bids.
  2. Execute financial and commercial activities during the sales phase in accordance with our Project Excellence Guide and applicable guidelines.
  3. Analyze tender requirements, identify and handle risks and opportunities in the commercial area, and negotiate terms and conditions.
  4. Develop business models, scope splits, and value flows to efficiently implement onshore and offshore parts of our service business.
  5. Drive service business development based on key levers like recycling & refurbishment and digitalization.
  6. Monitor service efficiency and success, and work with the commercial project management team to ensure feedback loops from execution.
Requirements
  1. Degree in Business Management, Finance, Accounting, Law, or comparable.
  2. Long-term commercial experience in bid management/sales and project management, preferably in a service business environment.
  3. Profound knowledge in SAP and MS Office (Excel, Power Point).
  4. Excellent communication skills in business-fluent English and ability to present results streamlined and sharp.
  5. Experience in an international environment and ability to work in a dynamic business environment.
