Job Title:
Sales Engineer - Minerals Division
Location: Remote
We are seeking a skilled Sales Engineer to support our Minerals Division in providing exceptional technical support to customers.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of mining operations and be able to analyze customer specifications to select the most suitable equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support to customers
- Analyze customer specifications and select suitable equipment
- Prepare detailed quotations and bids
- Oversee order fulfillment requirements
- Travel to key accounts to identify new business opportunities
- Support aftermarket sales
- Cultivate a deep understanding of Weir's products and services
- Represent Weir Minerals at industry exhibitions and trade shows
Job Knowledge/Education and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Mining, Industrial, or Civil Engineering
- Proven experience in the mining industry, particularly in customer-facing roles
- Proficiency in spoken and written English
- Willingness to travel extensively
