As a Sales Engineer at Ribbon Communications Operating, you will play a pivotal role in delivering cutting-edge networking and communication solutions to major telecom operators and enterprises globally. The Role:

We are seeking a collaborative, experienced, and self-motivated Sales Engineer to join our team in EMEA. As part of the Ribbon Sales Engineering Team, you will collaborate closely with the CTO office, PLM, and engineering to drive technical sales activities for emerging technologies and network evolutions.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide strategic and technological guidance to the sales team to achieve annual bookings and/or revenue budgets.
  • Develop sales engagement plans to drive technical sales activities for opportunities in forward-looking and emerging technologies as well as new network evolutions.
  • Support the Sales Channels and other stakeholders to identify, qualify, and win new opportunities.
  • Provide input to regional marketing plans and collaborate with Portfolio Marketing to share regional requirements and market insights.
  • Consult on strategic solutions/strategic customers to ensure the greatest return on investment, liaising with peers accordingly to support cross-RBU collaboration.
  • Attend trade shows, conferences, and network within the industry at CTO level to keep Ribbon's position and communications at a high level.
  • Create and retain positive ongoing relationships with customers and partners to present and promote the company's portfolio.
  • Keep abreast of product applications, technical services, market conditions, competitive activities, and industry trends to ensure the CA team is focused in the correct areas, and proactively transferring knowledge and cross-training the Field SE teams.

Minimum 40% travel required.

Education and Experience:

Bachelor's degree in engineering, or other relevant subject, and a minimum of [X] years of experience in a related field.
