About the Job

We are seeking a highly detail-oriented and mature Content Moderator to join our team at Job Squad. As a Content Moderator, you will be responsible for reviewing and filtering content on a popular social media platform to ensure a safe experience for users.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review user flagging reports regarding website content
  • Understand and remain up-to-date with client's policies and guidelines
  • Analyse and identify content that is not in compliance with requirements and flag for action in a timely manner
  • Review the reported content within agreed turnaround times and standards of quality
  • Recognise trends and patterns, and escalate issues outside of the established policies
  • Use market specific knowledge and insights to spot and scope solutions to improve the support of user community
  • Review sensitive content, sometimes involving graphic or otherwise disturbing subjects
Requirements
  • You speak Norwegian at a native level and are fluent in English (B2)
  • Experience within content moderation, customer service, or other contact center environments is a plus, but not a must
  • Affinity with social media platforms
  • Good understanding and level of computer handling skills
  • Ability to deal with highly sensitive content (graphic images, among others)
  • Aware of current cultural, political, and social events
  • Professional and thorough
