About the Job

As a Content Moderator at Social Academy, you will play a crucial role in ensuring a safe and engaging experience for users on our popular social media platform. Your primary responsibility will be to review and filter content, identifying and flagging any material that does not comply with our guidelines.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review user flagging reports regarding website content
  • Understand and remain up-to-date with client's policies and guidelines
  • Analyse and identify content that is not in compliance with requirements and flag for action in a timely manner
  • Review the reported content within agreed turnaround times and standards of quality
  • Recognise trends and patterns, and escalate issues outside of the established policies
  • Use market specific knowledge and insights to spot and scope solutions to improve the support of user community
  • Review sensitive content, sometimes involving graphic or otherwise disturbing subjects

Requirements

  • You speak Norwegian at a native level and you are fluent in English (B2)
  • Experience within content moderation, customer service, or other contact center environments is a plus, but not a must.
  • Affinity with social media platforms
  • You have a good understanding and level of computer handling skills.
  • Ability to deal with highly sensitive content (graphic images, among others)
