Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Power Generation Field Service Technician to join our team at Cummins Inc. in Zaragoza, Spain. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers, ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our power generation products.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Efficient Repairs: Diagnose and complete complex repairs on generators and components, minimizing downtime for customers and enhancing their satisfaction.
  2. Customer Engagement: Build strong relationships with customers through courteous and professional interactions, fostering loyalty and repeat business.
  3. Proactive Service: Anticipate and address customer needs promptly, demonstrating commitment to excellent service and leading to positive customer experiences.
  4. Technical Expertise: Utilize specialized tools and follow procedures to diagnose and repair issues, showcasing technical skills and ensuring high-quality repairs.
  5. Preventative Maintenance: Perform scheduled maintenance activities to prevent future issues, ensuring the reliability and longevity of power generation products.
  6. Problem Escalation: Escalate unresolved issues to more experienced technicians or supervisors, ensuring complex problems are addressed efficiently and maintaining service quality.
  7. Accurate Documentation: Complete necessary documentation accurately, supporting warranty claims, quality control, and service records, contributing to operational efficiency.
  8. Safety and Compliance: Adhere to Health, Safety, and Environmental policies, ensuring a safe working environment and compliance with regulations, protecting both you and your customers.

Requirements:

  1. Apprentice Certified Power Generation/Mechanical Technician (Preferred)
  2. Vocational diploma from relevant technical institution
  3. Current relevant mechanical certification
  4. Locally valid driving permit
  5. Medium English level
  6. Medium level field service work experience. Previous experience in the industrial field, generating sets, diesel mechanics in general. Experience preferably in the Data Center environment. High experience in diesel engines.
  7. Intermediate level knowledge of and/or experience with power generation products
  8. Availability to cover emergency service.
