Job Title: Power Generation Field Service Technician

We are seeking a skilled Power Generation Field Service Technician to join our team at Cummins. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers, ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our power generation products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Diagnose and repair complex issues with power generation systems, ensuring minimal downtime for customers.
  • Provide excellent customer service, building strong relationships and fostering loyalty.
  • Perform scheduled maintenance activities to prevent future issues and ensure product longevity.
  • Escalate unresolved issues to more experienced technicians or supervisors, ensuring efficient problem resolution.
  • Accurately document all work, supporting warranty claims, quality control, and service records.
  • Adhere to Health, Safety, and Environmental policies, ensuring a safe working environment and compliance with regulations.
Requirements:
  • Proactive and customer-oriented approach, with a focus on identifying and addressing customer needs.
  • Strong diagnostic skills, with the ability to translate customer complaints into effective troubleshooting plans.
  • Knowledge of power generation systems and adherence to safety standards.
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to handle complex situations.
  • Apprentice certified power generation/mechanical technician (preferred) or vocational diploma from a relevant technical institution.
  • Locally valid driving permit and medium English level.
  • Medium level field service work experience, preferably in the industrial field, generating sets, or diesel mechanics.
