Job Title: Vice President of Sales and Business Development
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced leader to drive our commercial strategy and lead our sales team. As Vice President of Sales and Business Development, you will be responsible for developing and executing our business development roadmap, overseeing sales initiatives, and establishing strategic partnerships within the fintech ecosystem.
Your Responsibilities
- Strategy & Growth
- Develop and execute our commercial strategy, aligning it with business objectives to drive sales growth.
- Identify new market opportunities, merchant segments, and innovative business models to accelerate growth.
- Sales Leadership
- Lead the sales team to achieve aggressive growth targets, focusing on merchant acquisition, retention, and expansion.
- Oversee go-to-market strategies for new products and services, ensuring alignment with merchant needs and market trends.
- Leadership & Team Development
- Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing sales team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and results.
- Work closely with the executive leadership team to align sales goals with broader corporate objectives.
About You
- 15+ years of senior leadership experience in Sales roles, fintech, or financial services.
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or a related field.
- MBA or other advanced degree is highly desirable.
- Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence at all levels, including the C-suite.
- Strategic thinker with excellent analytical, financial, and commercial acumen.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and Spanish (Portuguese is a nice to have).
Salary Range: $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on experience.
