Job Description:
As a Global Business Development Manager at Despegar, you will be responsible for developing and managing a strategy for new account development for the global market. This includes preparing and presenting powerful, persuasive sales presentations that effectively demonstrate the value proposition of our products and solutions. You will also be acting as a liaison between key customers and internal stakeholders to meet account performance and negotiating agreements, contracts, overrides, SLAs, incentives, and marketing campaigns with partners.

Responsibilities:
• Develops and manages a strategy for new account development for the global market
• Prepares and presents powerful, persuasive sales presentations to demonstrate the value proposition of our products and solutions
• Acts as a liaison between key customers and internal stakeholders to meet account performance
• Negotiates agreements, contracts, overrides, SLAs, incentives, and marketing campaigns with partners

Requirements:
• Demonstrable background in sales within the travel industry
• High understanding of the travel industry, wholesale, API/XML knowledge basics
• Minimum 3 years of experience in the travel industry, wholesale/business to business sales experience preferred
• Ability to assess client's business needs and advise decision makers on how our products and services can best meet their travel needs
