Salary

The salary consists of a base and variable compensation package, including meal vouchers, company car, remote employment contract, cooperative team with flat structures and communication, and professional and personal development.

Estimated annual salary: €60,000 - €80,000 (dependent on experience)

Job Description

As Market Development Engineer specializing in IP&E technologies, you will determine, develop, scale, and lead the implementation of successful, comprehensive solution programs that accelerate market, sales, and profit growth within the associated markets or business segments.

You will specialize in key market segments and technologies of the business, as assigned within the dedicated Vertical. You will own the go-to-market strategy plan for the assigned market/business segment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct business strategy activities to include total available market, market share, segmentation, competitive analysis, emerging trends, SWOT, and product positioning.
  • Collaborate with the BU on product road mapping, new product development, and product management activities to support the assigned market.
  • Work with supplier, product management, and other product and engineering resources to clarify product and service needs, requirements, and priorities.
  • Create, gain approvals for, and execute comprehensive products and service offers.
  • Evaluate, recommend, and manage supplier and channel programs within the assigned market.
  • Contribute to the development of communication programs and materials for use in business development.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Experience in the electronics industry or manufacturing in similar positions in Sales, Engineering, Marketing, or Product management.
  • Experience in IP&E is mandatory.
  • Experience in engineering and business strategy - market & customer segmentation; competitive product benchmarking, financial analysis (ROI, pricing, scenario analysis).
  • Strong sales skills.
  • Full driving license and readiness for business travel.
  • English language skills - fluently in writing and spoken.
  • Spanish language skills (native or C1).
  • Expertise in engaging with executive-level stakeholders.
  • Track record in delivering results in market/segment management or development of comprehensive solutions offers in the business-to-business industry.
  • Understanding of performance measurement tools and technology.
  • Demonstration of project/team leadership and collaboration skills.
