Key Responsibilities- End-to-End ER Management: Develop and implement effective employee relations strategies to resolve complex issues, including progressive performance management, PIPs, absence management, unemployment, grievances, and other employee-related matters.
- Investigations and Reporting: Conduct thorough investigations, draft responses, conduct interviews, compile documentation, review systems, and write comprehensive reports to ensure defensible and transparent outcomes.
- Policy Updates and Collaboration: Lead policy updates and collaborate with managers, HR Partners, and COEs to ensure internal practices and procedures are aligned with best practices and individual employee issues are resolved optimally.
- Data-Driven Insights: Partner with HR Operations to build insights from data to diagnose, design, and revise people programs, policies, and practices to sustain positive employee relations.
- Process Improvement: Identify efficiencies for employee relations, investigations practices, and areas for operationalization of core practices and processes.
- Analytics and Reporting: Create and present analytics data from tools used by the ER team to inform business decisions.
- Process Development: Develop and refine ER processes, share standard methodologies, and improve efficiency with the ER Team's use of Elastic's systems, technologies, and controls.
- Global Employee Relations Expertise: Proven experience in complex global employee relations, including conflict resolution, policy development, and negotiation planning.
- Investigation and Reporting Skills: Proven track record of leading, decision-making, documenting, and delivering defensible ER investigation reports.
- Communication and Relationship-Building: Excellent communication skills, including effective listening and writing, with the ability to build strong relationships with managers, senior leaders, Legal, and HR colleagues.
- Discretion and Confidentiality: Consistently exhibits high levels of discretion, integrity, and confidentiality in handling sensitive employee-related matters.
- HR Experience: 5+ years of HR experience, with a focus on employee relations, investigations, and policy development.
