Job Description

The HR Business Partner Iberia will play a key role in supporting the business strategy by developing and delivering the people strategy in Spain and Portugal.

This role will focus on partnering with Elanco business leaders in the respective countries to attract, retain, and develop talent, while building high-performing teams.

In addition, this role will be responsible for the ER/IR relationship with the local works council.

Responsibilities
  1. Thought Leadership and Strategic Partnership: Partner with business leaders and various Centers of Excellence (COEs) to develop the business strategy and corresponding HR strategy.
  2. Talent Management and Staff Development: Partner with business leaders to provide coaching and develop strategies to proactively manage the retention and development of key talent, including current and future leadership talent.
  3. Organization Diagnosis, Intervention Design and Change Management: Advise and influence business leaders to ensure the cluster is appropriately designed to achieve its strategic and operational business objectives.
  4. Core HR Process Stewardship: Advise and influence site leaders to ensure that core HR processes are leveraged for behavior change with employees.
  5. Deliver HR Essential Wins: Ensure essential goals are met, local HR programs are implemented, and relevant processes are followed.
Key Functions and Duties
  1. Thought Leadership and Strategic Partnership: Partner with business leaders and various COEs to develop the cluster business strategy and corresponding HRM strategies.
  2. Organization and Talent Development: Drive and facilitate the Success Management and Talent Review.
  3. Recruitment: Champion the Elanco recruitment process, coaching supervisors on their role and responsibility within the process.
  4. Performance Management: Drive and champion the Performance Management framework.
