Job Summary

Elastic is a leading provider of enterprise search, observability, and security solutions. We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Technical Marketing Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our marketing organization, you will be responsible for building demos that showcase the capabilities of our products.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Maintain and upgrade current demos to ensure they are aligned with the latest version of the Elastic Stack.
  2. Support the development and maintenance of our demo infrastructure and environment.
  3. Improve automation, build, and processes to make demo maintenance more efficient and reliable.
  4. Create new demo content based on our security solutions and use cases.
  5. Develop technical blog posts and guides on how to use our technology.
  6. Record technical enablement and demo recordings or webinars.

Requirements

  1. Extensive experience in security operations or engineering, with a focus on data collection across operating systems, cloud providers, web server technologies, and network devices.
  2. Deep understanding of adversary emulation techniques and technologies.
  3. Experience with using Elasticsearch in cloud environments.
  4. Broad software development background for automating demo setups.
  5. Familiarity with Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, and deployment in AWS, Google Cloud, and Azure.
  6. Excellent communication skills to effectively communicate with non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

  1. Site-Reliability Engineering experience.
  2. Prior experience as a technical marketing engineer or pre-sales engineer with cloud technologies.
  3. Experience implementing Elastic's solutions in customer environments.
