Key Responsibilities- Develop and Maintain Demo Environments: Design and set up demo environments to showcase Elastic Observability's technical capabilities, ensuring they are up-to-date and effective in demonstrating compelling use cases.
- Create Impactful Use Cases and Workflows: Develop and refine use cases and workflows that empower the field team to deliver differentiated demos and successful proof-of-concepts (POCs), highlighting the value of Elastic Observability.
- Streamline Automation and Processes: Automate and streamline demo maintenance processes to ensure they are efficient, reliable, and scalable, minimizing manual effort and reducing errors.
- Provide Training and Enablement: Develop and deliver timely training and update content to enable the field team with the latest product capabilities, ensuring they are equipped to effectively demonstrate Elastic Observability's features and benefits.
- Author Technical Content: Write technical blogs and articles that highlight Elastic's technology and platform, driving thought leadership and engagement among technical audiences.
- Deliver Technical Enablement Sessions: Create and deliver technical enablement sessions, including demo recordings and webinars, to educate and inspire the field team and other stakeholders about Elastic Observability's capabilities.
- Influence Product Roadmap: Provide market and customer insights that shape the product roadmap, ensuring Elastic Observability meets the evolving needs of our customers and the market.
- Measure and Track Demo Usage: Monitor and analyze demo usage and adoption to continuously improve the effectiveness and impact of our technical marketing efforts.
- Represent Elastic at Industry Events: Showcase Elastic Observability's products and engage with the community at industry events, representing the company and building relationships with key stakeholders.
- Extensive Experience in Observability and Cloud Domains: Proven expertise in observability, developer tools, or cloud-related domains, with a strong ability to engage technical audiences such as SREs, DevOps engineers, developers, and IT operations teams.
- Compelling Content Creation: Proven ability to create compelling content across various formats, including blog posts, presentations, and videos, that resonates with both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Broad Software Development Expertise: Broad software development expertise, particularly in Python, Go, and shell scripting, with a focus on automating demo environments and workflows.
- Hands-on Experience with Cloud Technologies: Hands-on experience with technologies like Kubernetes, Docker, and Terraform, enabling you to design and deliver robust demos and POCs.
- Strong Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly explain complex technical concepts to non-experts through blogs, videos, customer discussions, and webinars.
- Collaboration and Adaptability: Comfortable thriving in a cross-functional role, collaborating effectively with a highly distributed and diverse team, and adapting to changing priorities and requirements.
- Practitioner-Level Knowledge in Observability: Practitioner-level knowledge and experience in the observability or monitoring domain.
- Technical Marketing Experience: Previous experience as a Technical Marketing Engineer or Pre-Sales Engineer, particularly with cloud technologies.
- Real-World Experience with Elastic Solutions: Hands-on experience implementing one or more of Elastic's solutions in real-world customer environments.
