About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Technical Marketing Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our Product Marketing team, you will be responsible for building demos that showcase the capabilities of our products.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain current demos, upgrading them to the latest version of the Elastic Stack.
- Support the existing infrastructure and demo environment that provides content for our field.
- Improve our automation, build, and processes to make demo maintenance easier, more reliable, and faster.
- Create new demo content based on our solution, Elastic Security, and security use cases.
- Write technical blog posts on how to use our technology.
- Record technical enablement and demo recordings or webinars.
Requirements
- Extensive security operations or engineering experience, with a focus on data collection across operating systems, cloud providers, web server technologies, and network devices.
- Deep understanding of adversary emulation techniques and technologies.
- Experience with using Elasticsearch in cloud environments.
- Broad software development background for automating demo setups.
- Familiarity with Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, and deployment in AWS, Google Cloud, and Azure.
- Comfortable communicating to non-experts through blogs, videos, customer discussions, and webinars.
Preferred Qualifications
- Site-Reliability Engineering experience.
- Prior experience as a technical marketing engineer or pre-sales engineer with cloud technologies.
- Experience implementing Elastic's solutions in customer environments.
