Sales Manager Job Description

As a Sales Manager at Global Payments, Inc., you will be responsible for generating revenue through sales to new and existing key accounts within a geographic area or market. Your primary goal will be to collect information to better understand business issues, problems, and opportunities and to identify sales prospects.

You will prepare quantitative, qualitative, and financial data for use in pricing and sales presentations. Your task will be to ensure that sales plans and key account strategies are implemented and sales/financial goals are obtained.

We are looking for a candidate with a Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field, such as Communication, English, IT, or Engineering. A combination of relevant training and/or experience in lieu of degree is also acceptable. Typically, a minimum of 8+ years of relevant experience is required.

The ideal candidate will have proven sales experience in Technology Sales, specifically targeting the banking sector. Fluency in Written English and excellent communication skills in English and the local language are essential. You will be willing to work onsite in Vertis North, Quezon City (Philippines).

As a Sales Manager, you will research target prospects and develop a pipeline in the assigned territory, assigned portfolio, or with assigned accounts for new sales and/or for existing sales. You will nurture old and new relationships, execute and create the cold call plan, and establish the relationship plan for new and existing business.

You will create, maintain, and sustain a Strategic Sales Plan (SSP) for identified top prospects in assigned areas or accounts. Your responsibility will be to close the sale. You will create the solution design plan, size the work needed for the conversion, and help the client understand the work effort for the transition and the correct mix to offer.

You will independently negotiate master agreements and service level agreements for small prospects. You will manage the sales presentation and sales process, including identifying the objectives of the meeting, setting the agenda, and following-up on action items as needed.

We are looking for a candidate with broad expertise or unique knowledge, who uses skills to contribute to the development of company objectives and principles and to achieve goals in creative and effective ways.

The ideal candidate will have negotiation skills, the ability to close a deal, and work independently to determine methods and procedures on new or special assignments.
