Payroll Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Payroll Specialist to join our Shared Service Center of Labour Relations in Tarragona, Spain.
This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the success of our company by providing efficient and excellent service support in labor relations and payroll responsibilities to our Corporate Areas.
Key Responsibilities:- Payroll Processing: Ensure that key costs (e.g. bonus accrual, salary levels) are correctly tracked and recorded, acting as a central point of contact to address any questions and challenges that may arise.
- Pay Review and Variable Pay: Contribute to shaping and implementing the global pay review and variable pay process, ensuring that the process is compliant with the requirements of the reward governance framework.
- Payroll Balances and Controls: Own the payroll processing cycle for a country or a company depending on size and complexity, ensuring accurate Payroll Balances and controls at input and output (Source to Gross, Gross to Net).
- Payroll Accounting Support: Provide support with Payroll Accounting, including complex payroll queries & escalations.
- Stakeholder Management: Act as a point of contact for stakeholders (Benefits, Compensation, Stock Options, HR Services, Local HR, Recruitment, Accounting, Treasury and others).
- Process Improvement: Participate in projects aimed at improving payroll processes.
- Experience: 3+ years of experience in Spanish Payroll.
- Language Skills: Fluent in Spanish and English.
- Analytical Skills: Good analytical skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Knowledge: Experience with Spanish Labor Code, Taxation, Social Security System.
- Deep Knowledge: Deep knowledge of personal income tax legislation, labor law.
- Software Skills: Familiar with SAP, PeopleSoft, Workday, ADP software.
- Process Transition Experience: Experience with process transitions.
