Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Accountant, Accounting & Reporting Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the accounting, reporting, and tax activity for La Morella Nuts SAU, contributing to a solid basis of data for analysis and decision-making while ensuring compliance with local statutory and Group requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and yearly closing and financial statements in accordance with local statutory and Group requirements (IFRS)
• Perform general accounting, including fixed assets accounting, payroll accounting, and manual journal postings
• Support external auditors on conducting interim and yearly audits
• Prepare, review, and submit monthly financial reporting to the Group
• Ensure compliance with accounting policies and directives
• Develop and share accounting expertise and knowledge
• Build, maintain, and coordinate relationships with external stakeholders and the finance community within the Importante Empresa Group
• Ensure local Tax compliance for direct and indirect taxes

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
• Minimum 4 years' experience in accounting or audit, ideally in an international company
• Fluency in Spanish and good level of English, both written and oral
• Strong level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Ability to deal with monthly deadlines
• Good knowledge of MS Excel
