About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Director to join our Corporate Relations team in Madrid. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing new alliances and business opportunities for IE University in Spain.

Responsibilities
  • Develop new alliances: Identify and establish relationships with key stakeholders in the Spanish market to drive business growth and development.
  • Business and diagnostic projects: Develop and execute business and diagnostic projects to identify new opportunities and drive strategic planning.
  • Consultative sales: Provide consultative sales support to our team, leveraging your expertise to drive business growth and development.
  • Benchmarking and strategic planning: Conduct benchmarking and strategic planning to identify best practices and drive business growth.
  • Commercial activities: Manage commercial activities, including sales, co-creation, and management of academic projects with our various schools and departments.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with other departments to ensure that our corporate strategy in the region is coherently integrated throughout the organization.
Qualifications
  • Master's Degree: A Master's degree in a relevant field is required.
  • Language skills: Fluency in both English and Spanish is required. Arabic is a plus.
  • Professional experience: 5+ years of professional experience in sales, business development, or a related field is required.
  • Sales orientation: A sales-oriented mindset and experience in B2B sales is highly valued.
  • CRM experience: Experience with CRM systems and databases is required.
  • Project management: Experience in project management and coordination is highly valued.
  • Analytic thinking: Advanced capacity for analytic thinking and organization is required.
  • Interpersonal skills: Developed interpersonal skills, with ability to integrate and manage diverse groups.
  • Communication skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Spanish and English, with ability to present ideas clearly and convincingly.
