Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Technical Content Strategist to join our team in Barcelona. As a key member of our content marketing team, you will be responsible for developing a content strategy specifically designed for developers and deciding on the most effective distribution channels.
Key Responsibilities
- Developer Content Strategy: As a subject matter expert, you will build a content strategy that resonates with developers and decide on the most effective distribution channels.
- Create No-Fluff Content: You will work with our engineering and product teams to create content such as tutorials, blog posts, screencasts, and webinars that effectively communicate our value proposition to developers.
- Community Engagement: You will actively manage and nurture developer communities across platforms such as StackOverflow, GitHub, and Discord.
- SEO as a Key Pillar: You will be hands-on in optimizing our content performance through link building, content syndication, and improving critical on-page elements.
- Technical Enhancements: You will work closely with web developers to implement SEO enhancements, optimizing the site for better engagement with our audiences.
- Performance Analysis: You will conduct regular site and content audits using tools like Google Analytics, Search Console, and Ahrefs.
- Market Monitoring: You will continuously monitor and analyze content performance, staying up-to-date with market trends to make the company a leading voice in the market.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in a content marketing role for a company that markets developer products, or have a developer/engineering background.
- Track record of content production by yourself (Having managed and instructed agencies/freelancers is a plus).
- Strong understanding of the developer ecosystems and familiarity with platforms such as Discord, GitHub, and StackOverflow.
- Exceptional organizational and detail-oriented skills.
- Superior written and oral communication capabilities that show an understanding of how technical audiences are effectively marketed to.
- Hands-on experience with SEO principles and implementation of backlinks.
- Proficiency with platforms such as Google Analytics, Hubspot, and Ahrefs.
- Skills in crafting SEO-friendly content, whitepapers, or webinars.
