About the Role

This position is with Mygwork, an inclusive employer and a member of the LGBTQ+ business community. As a Market Intelligence Manager, Southern Europe, you will play a crucial role in driving business growth and informing strategic decisions.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Market Analysis: Collaborate with the Consumer Insight team to identify growth opportunities, consumer trends, competitive landscapes, and potential risks in the Southern Europe Region's alcoholic beverages market.
  2. Forecasting and Trend Identification: Develop insightful category forecasts by tapping into resources like the global tool Demand Radar and external sources like IWSR and Euromonitor. Adjust those forecasts with new developments in the market and proactively identify trends and emerging opportunities.
  3. Competitor Insights: Work closely with the Customer Marketing team and Sales to supervise and assess the activities and strategies of key competitors within the region, providing regular updates and analysis to relevant collaborators.
  4. Business Performance Evaluation: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to contribute to the evaluation of the performance of existing products, brands, sales areas, and channels, identifying areas for improvement and growth.
  5. Strategic Recommendations: Translate market intelligence findings into actionable insights and strategic recommendations to support the development of marketing strategies, product innovations, and go-to-market plans.
  6. Collaborator Management: Build strong working relationships with regional and global teams, marketing, sales, and leadership to ensure market intelligence insights are effectively communicated and coordinated into decision-making processes.
  7. Data Management: Ensure the timely and accurate collection, analysis, and reporting of market data, using appropriate tools and systems to provide actionable insights.
  8. Team Leadership: Lead a team of market intelligence analysts, providing guidance, mentoring, and development opportunities to enhance their skills and capabilities.
About You

You will have a Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Business, Marketing, Economics, or a related field. You will have validated experience of 5 years in market research, market or business intelligence, or related roles ideally within the alcoholic beverages industry or consumer goods sector. You will have highly numerical skills with experience in automation of large data sets and strong analytical skills with experience in data analysis, interpretation, and forecasting/modelling. You will have excellent communication and presentation skills to efficiently convey findings and recommendations to partners at all levels. Experience in leading and developing a team is preferred. Proficiency in English is required, and speaking one of the following languages: Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, Greek, or French is a plus.
