Market Intelligence Manager, Southern Europe

As a Market Intelligence Manager, Southern Europe, you will play a crucial role in driving business growth and informing strategic decisions for Diageo, a leading premium drinks company. This position is part of Mygwork, an inclusive employer and a member of the LGBTQ+ business community.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement market analysis and forecasting strategies to identify growth opportunities and consumer trends in the Southern Europe region.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to evaluate business performance, identify areas for improvement, and develop strategic recommendations.
- Lead a team of market intelligence analysts, providing guidance, mentoring, and development opportunities to enhance their skills and capabilities.
- Manage external information providers, such as Nielsen and/or IRI, to ensure timely and accurate market data collection and analysis.
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Business, Marketing, Economics, or a related field.
- Validated experience of 5 years in market research, market or business intelligence, or related roles, ideally within the alcoholic beverages industry or consumer goods sector.
- Highly numerical with experience in automation of large data sets and strong analytical skills, including data analysis, interpretation, and forecasting/modelling.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills to efficiently convey findings and recommendations to partners at all levels.
- Experience in leading and developing a team is preferred.
- Proficiency in English and speaking one of the following languages: Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, Greek, or French is a plus.
