About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated Research Technician to join our Neurodegenerative Diseases Research Group at Vall d'Hebron Research Institute. The successful candidate will support translational and clinical research in the field of Parkinson's Disease, working closely with our team to advance our understanding of the disease and develop new treatments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support different lines of research, particularly the study of the role of the adaptive immune system in Parkinson's disease and related diseases.
  • Carry out or support experiments with human samples, animal models, or cell cultures.
  • Manage the laboratory, including purchases.
  • Help with bioinformatics analysis.
  • Strengthen the bridge between the Parkinson's and Movement Disorders Unit and the research laboratory.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Sciences.
  • Fluency in English.
  • At least 2 years of experience working in a laboratory performing different techniques such as immunohistochemistry/immunofluorescence.
  • Knowledge of bioinformatics analysis (scRNAseq/scTCRseq, transcriptomics, metartanscriptomics...).
