Job Title: Research Associate

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Research Associate to join our Data and Research Services team at Boston Consulting Group. As a Research Associate, you will play a critical role in supporting our consulting teams with high-quality research and data analysis.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct in-depth research on various topics, including infrastructure, real estate, transportation, and tourism, to support client projects and business initiatives.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of industry trends, market analysis, and competitor research to provide valuable insights to our clients.
  • Collaborate with our consulting teams to refine research objectives, devise effective research approaches, and deliver high-quality results.
  • Manage multiple research requests simultaneously, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of results.
  • Develop and maintain a strong knowledge base in research tools, databases, and sources, including OAG, Phocuswright, Euromonitor, and STR.
Requirements:
  • 0-2 years of business research experience, with a specialization in travel and tourism topics.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, with a strong understanding of data analysis and visualization tools.
  • Fluency in English and proficiency in other European languages.
