Job Summary

As the Team Lead Fraud Prevention, you will be responsible for preventing and detecting fraudulent activities from publishers and partners in our affiliate marketing network and on our various online platforms. You will protect the business, our customers, and our partners from non-compliant parties. You will lead a team of experienced Fraud Management Specialists and Developers while continuously improving our fraud prevention tools and processes.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Review and Verification: Assume full responsibility for reviewing new publisher registrations and communications to ensure compliance and authenticity.
  2. Lifecycle Audits: Conduct regular audits during the publisher lifecycle to identify and address any anomalies.
  3. Anomaly Detection: Establish a robust monitoring system to detect anomalies for proactive fraud detection/prevention.
  4. Payment Analysis: Consistently review publisher payments on Awin and ShareASale platforms, focusing on identifying and analysing any irregularities.
  5. Fraud Prevention Strategies: Develop and implement comprehensive fraud detection and prevention measures and tools.
  6. Record Keeping: Maintain detailed records of fraud management activities and sanctions, and effectively communicate findings to relevant stakeholders.
  7. Business Requirements: Establish and maintain strong working relationships with colleagues within Awin to gather fraud prevention requirements from clients and partners and prioritize these according to business needs.
  8. Documentation and Reporting: Establish an accurate documentation process to have all team actions available for future reference and set up a process to proactively report anomalies to relevant stakeholders and implement actions and recommendations for action.
  9. Continuous Improvement: Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to enhance processes, tools, and quality of operations continuously.
  10. Framework and Compliance: You are the contact person when it comes to revising existing valid documents such as the T&C, the code of conduct, or best practices on a recurring basis.
  11. Training and Advisory: Actively provide advice and training to both internal and external partners on fraud prevention, detection, and resolution strategies.
Requirements
  1. Language Proficiency: Must be fluent in English; knowledge of German is advantageous.
  2. Affiliate Marketing Fraud Prevention: A minimum of 5 years' experience in Affiliate Marketing fraud prevention and/or fraud investigations is mandatory.
  3. Online Environment Expertise: Relevant experience in an online setting is highly preferred, indicating familiarity with digital platforms and e-commerce environments.
  4. Leadership Skills: You already have at least 2 years of experience in leading a team of at least five people.
  5. Client Service Excellence: Demonstrates exceptional client service skills with a proven track record of proactive engagement.
  6. Time Management and Adaptability: Possesses strong time management skills and the flexibility to adapt to changing circumstances and challenges.
  7. Multitasking in a Dynamic Environment: Capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced setting, demonstrating efficiency and effectiveness.
  8. Ownership and Accountability: Shows a strong drive to take ownership of tasks and accepts full accountability for the quality and outcomes of their own work.
  9. Positive Collaborator: Maintains a positive outlook with a strong team orientation and a demonstrated 'can-do' attitude, contributing positively to team dynamics and morale.
  10. Technical Proficiency: Demonstrated skill in using the MS Office suite, especially MS Excel, Power BI, and Tableau.
  11. AI/ML/LLM Systems Experience: A deep understanding of how AI/ML/LLM works to identify anomalies and make predictions.
  12. Tools Knowledge: A working knowledge of Asana, AdPolice, IPQS, and other fraud detection/management tools is highly favourable, indicating the ability to handle complex data analysis and visualization tasks effectively.
