Job Description

We're looking for a Team Lead, Mobility to join our team. As a Team Lead, you'll be responsible for managing a growing team of Mobility specialists who help new customers with visa processing flow. You'll oversee the day-to-day operations of the team and track their performance against set KPIs/OKRs.

You'll become an expert user of the Deel platform to enable specialists to deliver effective training to new joiners, educate customers whenever needed, and provide credible guidance on features and functionality. You'll also serve as a point of escalation for customer issues and resolve those issues in a manner that builds trust with both customers and Deel team members.

You'll partner with internal teams, including Sales, Support, Operations, Product, and Engineering, to deliver the best customer experience. You'll suggest and implement ideas for optimizing customer onboarding workflows through process improvements and product automation. You'll lead key initiatives and internal projects, and provide training, feedback, and coaching to the onboarding/backoffice specialists for continuous learning and development.

Requirements
  • Proven experience leading a Customer Support, Mobility, Credit Control, or other operations-related team within a rapidly-growing company in a Team Lead or Manager role for at least 1 year.
  • Track record of managing your team to meet or exceed operational efficiency and customer satisfaction goals in a high growth setting.
  • Ability to clearly convey complex ideas and data in written, presentation, and verbal formats to customers and team members.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous experience with operations/payroll/mobility/credit control or finance/accounting.
  • Experience working with clients and team members from multiple countries and across multiple time zones.
  • Experience working on a remote team.
  • Experience working at a high growth start-up or scale up.
  • Fintech or HR tech experience.
  • Multilingual.
