Software Development Team Lead

Kapsch Trafficcom Transportation Sa. is a leading provider of intelligent transportation systems. We are seeking a highly skilled Software Development Team Lead to join our team in Madrid.

About the Role

As a Software Development Team Lead, you will be responsible for guiding a team of software developers through the entire professional and development lifecycle. You will motivate and support your team members by example, building a culture of collaboration, high-performance, and trust.

Key Responsibilities
  • Guide a team of software developers through the entire professional and development lifecycle
  • Motivate and support team members by example
  • Build, train, and maintain a team living collaboration, high-performance, and trust
  • Lead team members to support them being successful and advance in their careers
  • Foster open communication, conduct regular growth talks and performance reviews
  • Manage team dynamics, encourage people to be responsible to achieve common goals efficiently
  • Contribute to our business models and technical concepts to deliver value to our customers
  • Shape change by commercial and technological decisions proficiently
  • Contribute to our software products and projects, support tender and bid business
  • Closed cooperation and communication with stakeholders
Requirements
  • Great passion for tech teams & software development
  • At least 2 years of relevant work experience as a team lead
  • Degree in Software Engineering, Information Technology or equivalent practical experience
  • Education or training in organizational and team-related aspects
  • Scrum-Master or Product-Owner certification is a plus
  • Knowledge of Data- and SaaS-business is an advantage
  • Decisive and solution-driven personality, strong problem solver
  • Passion to drive collaboration and deliver high-quality across teams
  • You practice and live the agile mindset
  • Very good command of English and Spanish
