DevOps Team Lead

A challenging opportunity has arisen for a skilled DevOps Team Lead to join our team at Automat-it. As a key member of our expansion team in Madrid, you will be responsible for leading and managing a team of 6-8 DevOps Engineers, ensuring timely and high-quality project deliveries.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage a team of DevOps Engineers to deliver infrastructure solutions for our customers.
  • Define and participate in creating architecture and designs for infrastructure and CI/CD solutions.
  • Facilitate team communication with customers and conduct code reviews to ensure technical best practices are applied.
  • Manage and track SOW for projects with customers, PMO, and higher management.
  • Provide hands-on implementation and guidance on complex elements in developing build automation flows, continuous release and deployment automation flows, automated resources, and infrastructure provisioning.
  • Drive the learning process within the team for the latest technology trends in the DevOps field.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in successfully leading IT projects from start to delivery.
  • Team Lead experience leading DevOps and/or SysAdmin teams.
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience with AWS infrastructures and AWS certification is a plus.
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience with Docker containers, Kubernetes, and Infrastructure as code (Terraform, CloudFormation, etc.).
  • Familiarity with Configuration Management (Ansible, Puppet, Chef, etc.) and CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub actions, etc.
  • Linux OS knowledge and network knowledge.
  • Fluent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Spanish.
