Wallapop is a leading classifieds platform in Spain, Italy, and Portugal, offering a vast catalogue of products and services. We're seeking a Business Leader in Motors to report directly to our COO. As the largest advertising platform for second-hand cars from private sellers in Spain, we want to continue our high growth by penetrating the dealer market and creating synergies within our portfolio. You'll define the general strategy to drive market penetration and revenue growth, manage the full Motors vertical, and develop strategic partnerships to improve our value proposition.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define our Motors strategy to improve our competitive position and become the leading classifieds platform for our Motors categories in Spain and potentially abroad.
  • Drive the processes to define yearly and quarterly business objectives in collaboration with all relevant stakeholders.
  • Collaborate closely with the cross-functional team to translate strategy into operational plans that will help achieve the set objectives and targets.
  • Take full ownership of key objectives and results, drive execution, and report proactively on progress and challenges.
  • Partner with Product, Marketing, and RevOps to develop an aligned roadmap for the team.
  • Analyze and improve our current professional proposition and pricing as well as our proposition for private sellers to ensure we maintain our leading position in the market.
  • Identify, quantify, and prioritize new opportunities to improve and innovate our value proposition towards buyers and sellers and drive revenue growth.
  • Create realistic business cases to drive make/partner/buy decisions.
  • Manage the full P&L of our Motors business.

Requirements:

  • Knowledge of and passion for the automotive industry, in classifieds or marketplace context.
  • Bachelor or Master's degree in business or engineering.
  • Relevant work experience in business management and/or strategic consulting in the field of classifieds and/or e-commerce.
  • Proven experience in developing and delivering business strategy.
  • Experience in managing a cross-functional team for an internet company.
  • Customer-centric mindset in everything you do.
  • Proven track record of delivering results against ambitious P&L targets.
  • Commercial and creative mindset, balancing pragmatic solutions with long-term goals.
  • Goal-oriented, self-motivated, and self-directed.
  • Motivated to take full ownership and include relevant partners from start to end.
  • Fluent in Spanish and English.

Hiring Process:
