Lead Payroll Analyst

As a key member of the Edwards Lifesciences team, this role is responsible for ensuring the efficient processing of high-volume bi-monthly payroll cycles. The successful candidate will oversee system upgrades, releases, patches, enhancements, and new versions to maintain accuracy and timeliness. This position involves developing spreadsheets for independent payroll calculations and collaborating with vendors to implement process improvements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and analyze complex queries and ad hoc reports to meet data request specifications from internal and external sources.
- Determine the need for and provide guidance to employees on complex payroll implications, such as multi-state taxation and relocation.
- Responsible for proper filing and archiving of data and documents.
- Submit payroll data to vendors for processing in a timely manner.
- Represent Edwards to third-party vendors to ensure services meet company standards.
- Develop and lead complex projects and initiatives to ensure adoption by users.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Accounting, Computer Systems, or a related field.
- 6 years of previous related experience in payroll analysis.
- Proven expertise in MS Office Suite and payroll-related systems.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including negotiating and relationship management skills.
