Job Summary: Brixio is seeking a skilled and motivated IT Officer to manage and maintain our IT systems and infrastructure. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our IT services, providing technical support, and implementing new technologies to enhance our business operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, configure, and maintain computer systems and networks to ensure optimal performance and security.
  • Provide technical support to staff, addressing hardware and software issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Assist in the management of IT projects and initiatives, ensuring timely completion and effective resource allocation.
  • Monitor and optimize system performance, security, and backups to prevent data loss and ensure business continuity.
  • Stay current with emerging technologies and make recommendations to enhance our IT infrastructure and services.

Requirements:

  • Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience.
  • 3+ years of experience in IT support or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of computer systems and networks, including Windows and Linux environments.
  • Familiarity with hardware components, troubleshooting, and repairs.
  • Experience managing IT projects is a plus.

Skills:

  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Customer service-oriented mindset.
  • Relevant certifications (CompTIA A+, Cisco, etc.) are a plus.
