About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sales and Business Development Specialist to join our team at Chart Industries. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving business growth and revenue through effective sales and business development strategies.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Proposal Preparation and Sales Support: Assist in the preparation of commercial offers and orders, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of proposals to clients.
  2. Client Interaction and Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring client satisfaction.
  3. Business Development and Growth: Identify and pursue new business opportunities, developing and executing strategies to drive revenue growth and expand our customer base.
  4. Collaboration and Support: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, engineering, and finance, to ensure seamless execution of sales and business development initiatives.
  5. Travel and Representation: Represent the company at client meetings, trade shows, and other industry events, as required.
Main Accountabilities
  1. Client Relationship Management: Manage relationships with clients, ensuring timely and effective communication and issue resolution.
  2. Proposal Development and Submission: Develop and submit proposals to clients, ensuring accuracy and completeness of information.
  3. Contract Management and Administration: Manage contracts and agreements with clients, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
  4. Business Intelligence and Reporting: Analyze sales data and market trends, providing insights and recommendations to inform business development strategies.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Proven sales and business development experience in a related industry.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other business software applications.
