Sales Associate

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Sales Associate to join our team at Claire's. As a Sales Associate, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional customer service and driving sales in our retail store.

1. Support the Store Manager and Assistant Store Manager in achieving retail store targets by driving sales and promoting products.
2. Provide friendly and efficient customer service, ensuring a fun and enjoyable shopping experience for our customers.
3. Demonstrate Claire's products and assist customers with their queries using your product knowledge.
4. Assist with processing store deliveries, visual merchandising, stock takes, markdowns, and promotions.
5. Perform ear piercing duties (full training will be provided).
6. Ensure the store looks presentable and inviting to our customers.

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

1. Some high school education.
2. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
3. Basic computer skills.
4. A strong understanding of customer service principles.
5. Sound mathematical skills and strong reading comprehension abilities.
6. The ability to stand during scheduled shifts.
7. The ability to lift up to 25 pounds regularly and up to 75 pounds occasionally.
8. The ability to bend, stoop, and climb ladders and step stools while placing merchandise and assisting customers.
9. The ability to operate a POS system.
