Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Technical Sales Manager to join our team in the renewable energy field. The successful candidate will be responsible for transforming prospects into engaged customers through strategic opportunity management and relentless pursuit of sales targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and target key market opportunities in collaboration with the sales team.
- Offer technical and sales support to clients and the sales team.
- Present and demonstrate our product offerings to prospective clients.
- Identify client needs and provide individualized solutions.
- Develop and maintain a robust knowledge of our products and services.
- Carry out customer acquisition through lead generation.
- Organize and conduct customer meetings.
- Introduce Cellect Energy as a company and its diverse product portfolio.
- Conduct a needs analysis for clients.
- Identify the key decision-makers in client organizations.
- Conduct live demonstrations of the Cellect SaaS products.
- Prepare the Cellect Offer of Service using our templates.
- Take responsibility for the handover of the Framework Agreement for customers using our standard documents and Framework Agreement Product Annexes, customized at the customer level.
- Prepare the SLA for customers, with only the annex changes defining the business-critical function.
- Walk-through with customers of the Cellect Offer of Services and the Frameworks Agreement, including Product Annexes and SLA, and clarify potential questions.
- Create deals in the CRM and monitor their status.
- Closing deals by obtaining the signature of framework agreements.
- Prepare quotations according to framework agreements.
- Liaise with the accounting department on topics like purchase orders and sales orders.
- Work closely with the CEO to provide input on the growth of the business and align revenue strategy with overall company objectives.
Requirements
- A bachelor's degree or a master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science or in a technical field or equivalent experience is required.
- English is a must.
- Proficiency in Spanish and/or Italian is a strong bonus.
- Minimum of three years' experience in a technical sales role.
- Experience in the renewable energy or energy storage sector is preferred.
- Experience in SaaS in addition to complex product offerings including managed services.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Comfort in developing executive-level sponsors.
- Ability to analyze the market, identify opportunities and develop effective sales strategies to achieve business goals.
- Self-motivated with a results-driven approach.
