Job Title: Business Development Manager

GLG is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager to join our team. As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for leading and managing the life sciences business development efforts for selected key large pharmaceutical company accounts.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Identify, develop, and expand business opportunities with key accounts in the life sciences industry.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and key decision-makers across all seniority levels.
  • Develop and execute account plans to drive commercial success and growth.
  • Collaborate with internal cross-functional teams to align stakeholders and ensure smooth execution of business development activities.
  • Travel to client sites in the UK and mainland Europe to build long-term client relationships.
Requirements:
  • 2-5 years of work experience in sales, inside sales, new business development, or a related field in the life sciences industry.
  • Strong knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry, including understanding of drug development journey, regulatory compliance, and market trends.
  • Experience in market research or consulting services is a plus.
  • Proven track record of developing account plans and securing successful renewals.
  • Outstanding written and oral communication skills.
  • The highest level of integrity and professionalism.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Salesforce, and sales support tools.
  • Bachelor's degree or above in a life sciences-related field.
