Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical and sales assistance to the Chem-Trend Thermoplastic Sales & Distribution team across the Iberian Peninsula.
  • Achieve sales objectives and drive business growth.
  • Offer daily operational support to the distributor network to ensure budgetary goals are met or surpassed.
  • Manage customer relationships to guarantee service levels align with their expectations and requirements.
  • Conduct commercial and technical training for distributors, and provide application support and troubleshooting for end users.
  • Deliver technical training and troubleshooting for key clients as necessary.
  • Allocate approximately 60% of your time to direct sales activities and 40% to supporting the distribution network.
  • Offer advice and troubleshooting services to the Chem-Trend Europe Thermoplastic sales & distribution team.
  • Execute various service-related tasks specific to the Thermoplastic sector within Europe.
  • Actively contribute to process enhancements and foster relationships with co-suppliers and relevant industry organizations.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field; candidates with a chemical background are also encouraged to apply.
  • Relevant industry experience with a solid understanding of the Thermoplastic sector, including production techniques (injection molding or extrusion) and release agent technology.
  • A strong technical foundation is essential.
  • You should be goal-oriented, proactive, well-organized, and possess a hands-on approach with effective planning skills.
  • Excellent communication abilities are necessary, enabling you to engage with senior management and various levels of customer contacts.
  • Native Spanish speaker with proficient English communication skills.
  • Capability to thrive in a multicultural and multilingual environment.
  • Willingness to travel extensively within the Iberian region.
