Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sales Representative to join our team in Spain and Portugal. As a Sales Representative, you will be responsible for providing technical and sales support to our Chem-Trend Thermoplastic Sales & Distribution team in the region.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as a technical and sales support to the Chem-Trend Thermoplastic Sales & Distribution team in the Spain and Portugal business region.
- Deliver sales and growth targets by identifying and pursuing new business opportunities.
- Provide daily operational encouragement and support to the distributor network to meet or exceed agreed budget objectives.
- Directly manage the customer base to ensure that the service level provided meets or exceeds their expectations and needs.
- Implement commercial and technical training as required for distributors, and offer application and trouble shooting consultation to end customers.
- Implement technical training & trouble shooting as required for key customers.
- Provide advice, consultation and trouble shooting services to the Chem-Trend Europe Thermoplastic sales & distribution team.
- Perform various service related duties, specific to the Thermoplastic market within Europe.
- Continuously contribute to improving processes, develop and maintain relationships with co-suppliers and relevant trade organizations.
Requirements
- University degree in engineering (Bachelor of Science) or equivalent.
- Industry experience with knowledge of the Thermoplastic industry, production methods (injection molding or extrusion) and materials and release agent technology and application.
- Technical background is mandatory.
- Goal- and action-oriented, independent, well organized, independent personality with a hands-on-mentality and planning abilities.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of dealing effectively with senior management and every level of customer contact from factory floor operators to board level management.
- Spanish native speaker and very good communication skills in English.
- Ability to work in a multicultural and multi-lingual environment.
- Must be prepared to travel extensively in Spain and Portugal.
