Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical and sales support to the Chem-Trend Thermoplastic Sales & Distribution team in the Spain and Portugal business region, fostering strong relationships with customers and distributors.
  • Drive sales growth and revenue targets, leveraging industry expertise and market knowledge to achieve success.
  • Offer daily operational guidance and support to the distributor network, ensuring they meet or exceed agreed budget objectives and deliver exceptional customer service.
  • Directly manage the customer base, ensuring that the service level provided meets or exceeds their expectations and needs, and builds long-term relationships.
  • Develop and implement commercial and technical training programs for distributors, as well as provide application and troubleshooting consultation services to end customers.
  • Collaborate with the Chem-Trend Europe Thermoplastic sales & distribution team to provide advice, consultation, and troubleshooting services, driving business growth and customer satisfaction.
  • Perform various service-related duties, specific to the Thermoplastic market within Europe, and contribute to process improvements and relationship development with co-suppliers and trade organizations.

Required Qualifications:

  • University degree in engineering (Bachelor of Science) or equivalent, with a strong background in chemical engineering or a related field.
  • Industry experience with knowledge of the Thermoplastic industry, production methods (injection molding or extrusion), and materials and release agent technology and application.
  • Technical background is essential, with a strong understanding of chemical processes and materials science.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with senior management, customers, and distributors at all levels.
  • Spanish native speaker and very good communication skills in English, with the ability to work in a multicultural and multi-lingual environment.
  • Ability to travel extensively in Spain and Portugal, with a strong work ethic and ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
