About the RoleApeel Sciences' Sales team is tasked with commercializing our technology and effectively communicating its benefits to customers, suppliers, and consumers. We're seeking a seasoned Commercial Sales Manager to drive sustainable growth in sales and expand demand for our products among retail customers.

Responsibilities

  • Sales Support
    • Provide comprehensive sales support and product marketing collaboration as the subject matter expert on multiple categories for Apeel.
  • Relationship Building
    • Build and maintain relationships with key customers, retailers, suppliers, and quality controllers to achieve sales targets and expand product categories.
  • Market Analysis
    • Analyze market data to understand how sales strategies are performing and identify areas for improvement.
  • Forecasting
    • Make forecasts for product demand to ensure inventory sustainability using analytics tools to track sales trends and customer behavior.
  • Budget Management
    • Assume responsibility for budget development and revenue for the category and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual global sales revenue forecasting.

Requirements

  • Education
    • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Experience
    • Deep category experience in produce, grocery, retail, or a related industry.
  • Skills
    • Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.
    • Presentation skills at the C-suite level.
    • Experienced in data analytics and forecasting methods.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite.
