About the RoleApeel Sciences' Sales team is tasked with commercializing our technology and effectively communicating its benefits to customers, suppliers, and consumers. We're seeking a seasoned Commercial Sales Manager to drive sustainable growth in sales and expand demand for our products among retail customers.
Responsibilities
- Sales Support
- Provide comprehensive sales support and product marketing collaboration as the subject matter expert on multiple categories for Apeel.
- Relationship Building
- Build and maintain relationships with key customers, retailers, suppliers, and quality controllers to achieve sales targets and expand product categories.
- Market Analysis
- Analyze market data to understand how sales strategies are performing and identify areas for improvement.
- Forecasting
- Make forecasts for product demand to ensure inventory sustainability using analytics tools to track sales trends and customer behavior.
- Budget Management
- Assume responsibility for budget development and revenue for the category and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual global sales revenue forecasting.
Requirements
- Education
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field.
- Experience
- Deep category experience in produce, grocery, retail, or a related industry.
- Skills
- Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.
- Presentation skills at the C-suite level.
- Experienced in data analytics and forecasting methods.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite.
What You'll Enjoy
- This role offers an attractive salary of $120,000 per year, commensurate with experience, and a competitive compensation package.
- The ideal candidate will be based in Southern Spain and require up to 30% travel to customer sites and retail locations domestically and internationally.
