About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Development Manager to join our team at Accor in Barcelona. As a Sales Development Manager, you will be responsible for driving business growth and revenue across all areas of the hotel, including rooms, meetings and events, and revenue and banquet sales.

Key Responsibilities

  • Achieve sales targets and increase revenue by attracting new business and expanding existing relationships.
  • Develop and implement innovative sales strategies to optimize revenue and drive business growth.
  • Collaborate with our Director of Sales to develop and implement sales initiatives and strategies.
  • Supervise and guide junior team members to ensure they are equipped to meet sales targets and provide excellent customer service.
  • Secure new business through market research and networking events.
  • Represent Accor at industry networking events and sales trips, arranging client entertainment, tours, and familiarization visits.
  • Work towards personal revenue goals and key performance indicators (KPIs) for corporate, group, and meetings and events segments.
  • Promote cross-selling of Accor properties globally to maximize revenue opportunities.

Requirements

  • At least 2 years of experience in hotel sales in Barcelona, with a proven track record of driving business growth and revenue.
  • A genuine passion for hospitality and a focus on delivering exceptional customer experiences.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
  • Proficiency in using a property management system (PMS) and other sales and marketing tools.
  • Fluency in Spanish and English is mandatory, with additional languages a plus.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible and adaptable approach to work.
