**Job Summary**

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pre Sales Engineer to join our team at PVcase. As a key member of our sales team, you will play a critical role in understanding the technical requirements of prospective customers and providing expert guidance on our PVcase software portfolio.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Collaborate closely with the Sales Team and Account Management team to understand customer technical requirements and provide technical expertise on PVcase product portfolio.
  • Develop an in-depth understanding of our PVcase software portfolio and stay updated on industry trends and advancements.
  • Act as a subject matter expert, providing technical guidance and support to the sales team and account managers.
  • Translate customer requirements into technical specifications, ensuring alignment of our solutions with customer needs.
  • Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to effectively communicate the features, benefits, and value proposition of our solutions.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to identify and qualify potential customers and new business opportunities.
  • Assist in preparing and delivering technical presentations, demonstrations, documents, and other technical sales-related materials.
  • Work closely with the sales team to address customer inquiries, technical concerns, and objections.
  • Support Sales and Marketing with Technical Content creation and delivery of product demonstrations on Marketing events such as Webinars and Live events.
  • Provide product feedback and feature requests to Product Teams.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with customers, acting as a trusted technical advisor throughout the sales process.
  • Conduct technical workshops, events, and training sessions to educate customers on our solutions and address any technical concerns or questions.
  • It may require some post-sales technical support to ensure customer satisfaction and successful project implementation.
  • Proactively identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling based on customer needs and project requirements.

**Requirements**

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, renewable energy, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in a pre-sales engineering or technical sales role, preferably within the solar energy industry or similar field.
  • Strong technical knowledge of utility-scale solar engineering solutions (C&I roof mount solutions, energy modeling, and GIS is a plus).
  • Excellent customer-facing communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage prospective customers and convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience working collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including sales, engineering, project management, and operations.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously in an agile and fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to travel 25% of the time to attend events, visit customers, or PVcase offices.
  • English and French language skills (another additional language is a HUGE BONUS).
