About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Internal Medical Translator to join our team at IQVIA Argentina. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality translations that meet the needs of our clients in the life sciences industry.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Translation and Quality Control: Translate complex medical content from English to Dutch, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and cultural relevance.
  2. Research and Terminology Management: Conduct thorough research to ensure the use of industry-specific terminology and maintain up-to-date knowledge of medical concepts and terminology.
  3. Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with our team to identify gaps in instructions or external issues that may impact client commitments, and provide feedback on the quality of translation work performed by other linguists or strategic partners.
  4. Process Improvement: Contribute to the development and maintenance of internal assets, such as glossaries, Translation Memories, and Style Guides, to ensure consistency and quality across all translations.
Requirements
  • Language Proficiency: Native speaker in Dutch and fluency in English.
  • Education and Experience: Tertiary or university degree in translation or linguistics, and at least 3 years of experience translating, reviewing, and editing life sciences content, including clinical trial documents.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in translation management systems and CAT tools, with experience in memoQ being desirable.
