About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Internal Medical Content Specialist to join our team at Iqvia Argentina. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for translating and editing life sciences content, including clinical trial documents, to ensure accuracy and quality.

Key Responsibilities
  • Translate and edit life sciences content, including clinical trial documents, to maintain accuracy and quality
  • Collaborate with the IQVIA Translations Services team to identify gaps in instructions or external issues that may affect client commitments
  • Research industry-specific terminology to properly reflect the meaning and tone of source content
  • Proofread translated texts for terminology, grammar, spelling, and punctuation accuracy
  • Work with the IQVIA Translations Services team to update or improve glossaries, Translation Memories, Style Guides, and other internal assets
  • Provide thorough and relevant feedback on the quality of translation work performed by other linguists or strategic partners
Requirements
  • Native speaker in target language: GERMAN
  • Excellent spoken and written skills in the target language: GERMAN
  • Fluency in source language(s) – spoken and written: ENGLISH
  • At least 3 years of experience translating, reviewing, and editing life sciences content, including clinical trial documents
  • Tertiary or university degree in translation or linguistics and at least 3 years of translation experience, or no university degree and at least 5 years of translation experience
  • Ability to work according to tight deadlines and independently
  • Experience with translation management systems and CAT tools
  • Desirable experience with memoQ and prior experience as a translator with a translation and localization company
