Principal Product Manager, Fleet Planning and Optimization

We are seeking a highly skilled Principal Product Manager to lead the development and implementation of innovative solutions for our EU Fleet Supply Chain. As a key member of the Amazon Logistics team, you will be responsible for driving business growth and improving operational efficiency through data-driven decision making.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute product strategies to optimize fleet planning and management, including vehicle procurement, supply chain optimization, and downstream decisions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Amazon Logistics, Finance, Network Planning, and Product Development, to integrate new processes and technologies.
- Design, develop, and test new product features and capabilities, leveraging statistical modeling, machine learning, and deterministic algorithms.
- Monitor and analyze upstream forecasts, business strategies, and market trends to inform product development and optimization.
- Own the re-engineering of our automated forecasting model, Fleet Requirement Planning (FRP), and short-term planning model (Deployment Scheduling) to integrate new Amazon organization van requirements, move to probability-based modeling, and introduce optimization models.
- Proven experience in product management, with a focus on fleet planning and optimization.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and drive business decisions.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Experience with statistical modeling, machine learning, and deterministic algorithms.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing business requirements.
