We are seeking a highly skilled Principal Product Manager to lead the EU Global Fleet Program within Amazon Logistics. This is a high-growth, fast-paced environment that requires a talented individual to drive product-related initiatives and introduce new processes for long, medium, and short-term planning.
Key Responsibilities- Fleet Planning and Optimization: Design and develop scalable fleet planning models to ensure efficient and cost-effective operations.
- Strategic Partnerships: Collaborate with finance business partners to ensure plans are aligned with business strategies and meet peak demand requirements.
- Forecasting and Analytics: Define and own Fleet Demand forecasting accuracy metrics to inform business decisions.
- Stakeholder Management: Be accountable for timely buy-in from VP and senior stakeholders on significant Fleet CAPEX investment and OPEX decisions.
- Process Improvement: Consolidate input from various stakeholders and ensure fleet plans consume the latest assumptions.
- Electrification and Integration: Drive the transition to electrification and integration of MoT into Fleet Requirement Planning.
- Business Expansion: Extend process to new business customer organizations and countries to be launched over the next years.
The EU Amazon Logistics (AMZL) Fleet Planning, Analytics (FPA) team operates within Global Fleet & Products, responsible for EU AMZL fleet requirement definition, sourcing, short-term deployment scheduling, business intelligence, and analytics support.
Requirements- Education: Bachelor's degree
- Experience: Proven experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition, feature delivery, and tradeoffs of a product
- Technical Skills: Experience in technical product management, program management, or engineering, leading engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product
- End-to-End Product Delivery: Experience with end-to-end product delivery
- Technical Expertise: Experience working directly with Engineers on product enhancements
- Project Management: Experience in project management methodologies, business analysis, or process improvement
