We are seeking a highly skilled Principal Product Manager to lead the development of our EU Fleet Planning and Optimization program within Amazon Logistics. This is a critical role that will drive the success of our high-growth, fast-paced organization.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement scalable fleet planning models to optimize vehicle procurement and supply chain decisions.
- Collaborate with finance business partners to ensure plans are efficient and meet peak demand, ensuring an efficient ordering process.
- Define and own fleet demand forecasting accuracy metrics.
- Be accountable for obtaining buy-in from senior stakeholders on significant fleet CAPEX investment and OPEX decisions.
- Consolidate input from various stakeholders and ensure fleet plans consume the latest available assumptions.
- Drive the transition to electrification (EV planning Business As Usual) and integration of Modes of Transport into Fleet Requirement Planning.
- Extend FRP process to new business customer organizations and countries to be launched over the next years.
The EU AMZL Fleet Planning, Analytics (FPA) team operates within Global Fleet & Products (GFP), responsible for EU AMZL fleet requirement definition, short-term deployment scheduling, business intelligence, and analytics support. Our goal is to scale fleet capacity efficiently.
Requirements- Bachelor's degree.
- Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition.
- Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product.
- Experience in technical product management.
- Experience leading engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product.
- Experience with end-to-end product delivery.
- Experience working directly with Engineers on product enhancements.
- Experience in project management methodologies, business analysis, or process improvement.
