About the Role

We are seeking a driven and resourceful individual to join our EMEA Merchant Acquisition Sales organization in Madrid. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for growing our acceptance network across Europe by managing and closing inbound sales opportunities.

Main Responsibilities

  • End-to-end ownership of leads, from first contact through to closing the sale, account set up, and ensuring merchants can fully benefit from accepting American Express.
  • Working closely with the GCG Premium Servicing teams to support global accounts set up across all repatriated markets.
  • Collaborating with aggregation teams to set up accounts for merchants moving from aggregation to direct acceptance via payment designation.

Requirements

  • High-level English written and spoken, with a high-level understanding of other European languages.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with previous inbound or outbound sales experience a plus.
  • Ability to work with complex set-ups, including custom agreements, bespoke pricing, and adaptability.
