**Our Team**

Global Accounting Delivery (GAD) is a team of 400 professionals operating from six different countries and representing over 30 nationalities. Our focus is to deliver compliant and quality-assured financial information faster and smarter to support business decisions. In GAD, dedicated professionals work in a dynamic and customer-focused environment.

**The Role**

We're looking for an Accountant to join the Purchase-to-Pay (PTP) team in the Polestar team to be based in Madrid (metro Cuzco). Polestar is an all-electric car Swedish brand that sells directly and online to consumers and is listed on Nasdaq. Our continued success is the result of a collaborative, diverse, and inclusive working environment.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Coordinate with different teams and be responsible for daily execution of correct PTP processes.
  • Be the interface and the point of contact for our Polestar entities in the EMEA region and the Business Process Outsourcing delivery team.
  • Perform judgement-based issue resolution of inquiries relating to PTP processes.
  • Secure correct accounting principles and comply with national and international laws and regulations as well as company guidelines.
  • Be responsible for the accuracy of reported financial figures.
  • Focus on the self-billing invoice processes of direct materials and support indirect material processes.
  • On-board new suppliers, set up, fix issues, and detect improvement areas in the process.
  • Manage supplier inquiries.
  • Approve invoice payment proposals.
  • Perform PTP period end activities.
  • Analyze KPIs.
  • Review account reconciliations.
  • Perform intercompany reconciliations.
  • Provide phone support for supplier calls.
  • Solve escalated tickets through the ticketing system.
