Purchase to Pay Accountant Role
We are seeking an experienced Purchase to Pay Accountant to join our team in Alcobendas, Madrid. As a key member of our Finance Operations Center, you will be responsible for supporting business activities within the Purchase to Pay process. Your duties will include:
- Supporting the Accounts Payable (AP) process for most SKF companies in Southern Europe
- Following up and monitoring outsourced AP activities
- Ensuring the quality of master data about suppliers from a financial perspective
- Following up and securing payments on time for external and internal suppliers
- Handling payment reminders and contact with suppliers
- Performing ad hoc and monthly analysis of AP processes and Days Payable Outstanding (DPO)
- Responsible for the reconciliation of General Ledger/Invoice Register
- Troubleshooting of internal and suppliers' invoices
- Performing AP closing and reporting activities
- Analyzing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Continuously improving processes to align with all entities in scope
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A degree in Business Administration/Accounting or similar working experience
- A high level of English (C1 minimum), with French and/or Italian desirable
- Curiosity, proactivity, and attention to detail
- A hands-on and team player mindset
- Prior experience working in SAP or similar ERP systems
